A Reflection On My First Exhibition

Being part of this exhibition has been an experience I will always carry with me. To see my work displayed among other talented artists and to witness people pause, reflect, and connect with my pieces felt both humbling and affirming. Photographing nature has always been a deeply personal journey for me. It's a way of honoring the land, its stories, and the emotions we sometimes cannot put into words.

For me, this was not just about sharing my work publicly. It was about challenging myself to step outside of my comfort zone. To stand in my truth as an artist, to embrace vulnerability, and to allow others to see and interpret my vision. Growth never comes without risk, and this moment reminded me of the importance of saying "yes" to opportunities that feel bigger than you.

This exhibition reminded me why I create in the first place: to share perspective, to stir memory, and to offer a moment of stillness in a world that often moves too quickly. It was not just about seeing my work on the walls, but about being part of a larger conversation, one where art becomes a bridge between souls.

I had the honor of speaking with Grand Bahama News about my journey–you can read the full interview here.

And I'm excited to share that the Catalogue of Works for this exhibition has now been published. You can view it here.

This is only the beginning, and I look forward to the chapters of growth and creation still to come.

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
